With the most recent events involving the menendez brothers i felt that this subject was important to cover with this blog. I hope that while reading this you take a netrual stand point until the end.

What happened?

In the summer of 1989, lyle and eric killed their parents in their Beverly Hills mansion. But why did this happen? In court eric and lyle claimed that mainly their father had been both physcially abusive and he had sexually assaulted both of them. They both claimed they felt as if their lives were at stake as there father was a very powerful man.

How did the public respond to their story

Much of the public responding to their story claiming that they deserved the death penality, and that they were evil. On the contrary parts of the media led these huge storys about the brothers being in this digscusting incestual relationship. And ive also met both of those types of people in real life. Now why could these media outlets lead these narrivites. Its simple its becasue they were greedy and now these rumors are around and people will sinserly believe anything they see in the media.

How you do you treat killers?

Do you treat a killer like human trash or do you sympasise with the abuse some of them face.

that was suposed to be a rhetorical question.

It doesnt matter what side your on you need to leave people alone. Whether you believe things or not, just yourself can cause harm to other. I mean what if someone started a rumor that you did coke in the schoolbath room, I would hope you havent and so this completly false rumor can still give you a stigma even if its not true, becase just one person can completly ruin your life.

Now lets scale it up to all true crime.
Every podcast, every whisper, every joke, every movie, every documentrary that You indulge in activly affects someone somewhere somehow. Whether it be adding money to someones pocket which causes motive for more movies. Or giving rumors powers, Or even just giving something views.

Everything matters and you need to stop giving these killers the power to profit and turn the situation to their favor
